Affirming

Hello Everyone.

Here's a short update on my progress. Im 33 weeks and soon to be 34 on Thursday. Ive got a doctor's appointment during my 35th week. Little Fia is still active as ever. She gets the hiccups several times a day. I'm not taking insulin! I'm just dieting and it's working. I've actually lost weight which is not a bad thing because I've got pounds to spare. I just turned 35 and my family did a great job making me feel special. Speaking of special I keep looking at these 3D/4D ultrasound places. I'm hoping we will get to do that some time soon.

I recently read a blog from the "My Pregnancy" iPhone app. It's about positive birth and pregnancy affirmations. It's so far the best pregnancy blog I have read as far as helping me mentally and spiritually.  If you are anything like me, you think pregnancy is one big challenge ending with a wonderful reward. You worry that everything is ok while wishing, hoping and praying that time will some how fly by in a blink of an eye. I'm not a graceful, nice or even beautiful pregnant woman. I long for the delivery time to come so I can be done with all the aches, pains and sicknesses that come about normally during pregnancy so I can hold my precious little one. Funny thing is as much as I don't like being pregnant my fondest memories are that just given birth event. I love it. So while I wait life isn't fun. I'm in my third trimester and I need a bit of a pick me up. So I read this blog. Here are the affirmations on the blog for my fellow pregnant friends, please go and read the rest of what she has to say.

Pregnancy reminds me of the seasons. Especially during the last months of pregnancy we anxiously wait for the birth of our child. It is like the last winter month as we anticipate spring. It is a beautiful process that the Lord our God made. I enjoy seeing pregnancies. I enjoy each of my pregnancies differently. I saw the wonders and miracles of God through each one. Congrats on your recent birth of Baby Fia.

My love and blessings
